PROFIDA® is developed in pure Java. Java transcends platforms making PROFIDA® run on all currently supported Operating Systems (Windows XP, 2000, Vista, Server 2000 or better).
Any operating system can be used for the PROFIDA® Web Server provided it supports a compliant web browser.
PROFIDA® Web Server provides your users and clients web based access to your data.
Both, the PROFIDA® Desktop and Web Server Solution, runs on top of professional enterprise databases like Sybase and Firebird. There will be no conflict when installed next to any other of your software applications, even if one of your applications runs on Sybase or Firebird as well.
The employ of both solutions can be combined depending on the requirements of specific branches or users. This means that you can decide for users to employ either one of the solutions or both solutions at the same time depending on their line of duty or area of responsibility.
